In 1949, Mr. Kihachiro Onitsuka began his athletic footwear company (Onitsuka Co., Ltd.) by manufacturing basketball shoes out of his living room in Kobe, Japan. Good, but not as wide as I'd hoped ...

These are good shoes, they fit well in most respects, but they are just not as wide as I'd hoped.I bought the 4E width, and it really doesn't feel any wider 2E. I have purchased other ASICS shoes in the past and have not noticed the toe-box being this tight. It isn't unwearable, it will just take for it to stretch out, I guess.

I have always heard good reviews of asics shoes yet ways found myself spending loads more on other companies like brooks... etc. Until now! I have very flat feet and these shoes feel every bit as comfortable as my $120 brooks! If they hold up even a few months, I will be buying more!

Asics are always the most comfortable I have plantar fasciitis and these shoes relive the pain I have associated with that
